Razor A2 Kick Scooter, 8.6 out of 10 based on 1 rating
The Razor A2 Kick Scooter is an amped-up version of the original, providing an easy way for kids to transport themselves from Point A to Point B. It is recommended for children aged five and up, and carries a six-month warranty.
This kick scooter is made from a durable aircraft-grade aluminum material and features a patented T-tube and deck design. The aluminum is very sturdy and should hold up well during normal use. This enables the Razor A2 scooter to fold down conveniently when not in use, allowing you to throw it in the trunk or store it in a closet.
The wheels are 98mm inline-style urethane and come equipped with a springless shock system. The springless shock system is great for reducing the impact of an uneven driving plane. If you need to come to quick stop, the Razor A2 Scooter is capable due to the patented rear fender brake. It even has a wheelie bar which is all new on this particular model.
This particular model weighs around six pounds, and can support riders up to 143 lbs. Anyone using the Razor A2 Kick Scooter is responsible for knowing and obeying local, state, and federal regulations that govern the riding and use of scooters in the roadway and on sidewalks.
This scooter is lightweight and can be easily assembled. You can also adjust the height of the bar to your child’s height quite easily. It can be a great alternative to a walk or bike commute, folding down easily to be carried or slipped into a backpack.
It contains many patented features that enhance the ride and usability of this model as well as distinguishes it from the competition.
This is not a professional quality scooter and cannot withstand extreme riding such as big airs, stair sets, bar twists, barspins, tailwhips, 180’s, 360’s, or bri flips.
Some users have reported minor problems such as loose screws after continued use. The folding mechanism can also stick when this scooter is used frequently. Be sure to check the condition of the scooter regularly as loose screws or other mechanical problems may cause the scooter to disassemble while in use, causing injury to your child.

Review: Angry Birds Knock on Wood
Review: Angry Birds Knock on Wood, 8.8 out of 10 based on 1 rating
Angry Birds: Knock on Wood brings the touchscreen phone app to a hands-on board game that is fun for the whole family. Two to four players can play at once, and the board game rules are the same as in the application.
Would you like to play America’s favorite phone app in real life? If you’re a fan of the Angry Birds application, then you’re going to love Angry Birds: Knock on Wood. The battle continues between the Angry Birds and those darn egg-stealing pigs, but those birds will have their revenge!
In this game, you draw cards to determine your next move, build castles, and then knock them down in a hands-on version of the popular phone application. The first player to reach 100 points wins! Three Angry Birds must launch towards the pigs’ wooden castles, if you destroy them, then you may advance to the next level.
Angry Birds: Knock on Wood contains three Angry Birds, four pigs, one bonus points star, one bonus points egg, fourteen building blocks, forty mission cards, sixteen points cards, an instruction manual and a bird launcher.
This game is suited for players age 5 and up, and does not require any additional equipment to play. You simply, build, launch and destroy those castles to win. There are three levels of cards that provide different building ideas; along with a fourth level that allows you to freestyle.
When free styling, you can experiment with different buildings and launching distances. The goal is to launch an Angry Bird towards the pigs to knock them down. You gain points for knocking down the pigs, and the first player to reach 100 points is victorious.
To play, draw a card. The higher the card is, the more points you can win. You then give that card to the next player and they must build the castle that that card contains. The bird launcher is then used to shoot it down. Your ammo is an Angry Bird, as indicated on the Mission card.
After you have some experience, you can experiment with the game’s rules, structures being built, and birds being launched. Fourth level mission cards allow for this type of freestyle castle building and creative play. There is a menagerie of possibilities, and the hands-on style of the game keeps you and your family entertained for hours.
Do you want to play the #1 best-selling phone app in real life, right in your living room? Get Angry Birds: Knock on Wood. We have some more thoughts (including pros and cons) below as well as our final thoughts and recommendations.
The concept of the entire is enjoyable and entertaining. It is also easy to understand as well as explain to younger players. It’s a great game for young children as well as older children and adults.
The pieces inside the game are built sturdy, and some children even enjoy using the game pieces as action figures. This game also has the ability to help a child’s coordination develop, as well as patience.
Not to mention the game is fun for them whether or not they are into Angry Birds on the phone or computer. For the money, we think this game offers a lot of entertainment value which is one of the biggest pros when considering purchasing it as a gift – or even for yourself! (We won’t tell.)
It can be really frustrating to keep searching for scattered pieces after a castle has been destroyed. The building can be a tedious process, and players can become frustrated when building the structures shown on the cards. Some users have complained that structures in the Level 1 category are just as difficult as some in Level 2 or 3.
It is true that some players may have difficulty building the structures, especially if you’re prone to clumsiness or need to work on the virtue of patience. Children who do not tolerate slow, meticulous projects may become easily distracted or even annoyed at the building of the castles.
There is also somewhat of a learning curve for launching the birds. You must always make sure that you have all of the pieces when packing up the game, if you lose any it will seriously impede your ability to play the game at all, considering that these pieces are integral to structural success.
For the price, if you have an Angry Birds fan – young or old – there is a good chance they’re going to like this game as a gift. And while it is fun, it also helps with coordination for younger children as well, which is a good thing. Available for well under $30 most places online, this is a good value for the money and makes a perfect gift for small children or adults who love Angry Birds or just love great games in General.
Sometimes when companies make games branded from other games (like video games) they do not come out very good. Angry Birds Knock on Wood is different in that it would work well as a standalone game if nobody knew about the Angry Birds video game (which is hard to imagine with so many millions of downloads for many platforms!) Now you can have the hit video game for the phone in your home with a real board game.
Overall, we have to recommend Angry Birds Knock on Wood. From the value for the money aspect to the amount of fun it can give children to the help with development it gives them. While the Angry Birds game may be a passing fad to some, we think the board game for Angry Birds will offer quite a bit of fun. Just make sure to keep all the pieces together in the box!
If you have played the Angry Birds Knock on Wood game, please leave a comment below and let us know what you thought about it and if you have any funny stories or photos, that would be great! Remember, at Top Toys Blog we like to hear from our readers and we are here to answer questions and help however we can.

Kickboard USA Mini Kick Scooter
GD Star Rating
a WordPress rating system
If you have a young child, then the Kickboard USA Mini Kick Scooter may be something that you’re considering. This mini kick scooter is designed for children aged 2-5. If you have children aged 5-10, then have a look at the Maxi Kick Scooter instead. Kickboard USA also manufactures a full range of quality scooters for teens as well as adults.
Kickboard USA is known for creating a quality scooter. The Kickboard USA Mini Kick Scooter is no exception, and truly represents some of the best quality and technology in this product category. The Mini Kick Scooter has even won several awards, including the Parent’s Choice Approved Seal in 2011 and the Oppenheim Toy Portfolio Gold in 2009. The Mini also won the Platinum Award Seals for Best Toy in 2009.
Several journalists have also profiled the Kickboard USA Mini Kick Scooter, naming it ‘Best Pre-School Scooter’ (Toy Report), ‘Best Outdoor Toy’ (Learning Express Stores), and was featured in ‘Best Toys for Summer’ on the NBC Today Show.
The Kickboard USA Mini Kick Scooter is unique because of its ‘lean-and-steer’ design. Children operate the scooter by shifting their body weight side to side to go left and right. The motion is not unlike surfing, and is also similar to using a skateboard. For children in this age category, it is crucial to develop balance and coordination, and the Mini Kick Scooter helps them achieve this.
The Kickboard USA Mini Kick Scooter features Italian-made wheels which glide gracefully over the pavement, providing a smooth, stable ride. It is a 3 wheel design, which is what allows for children so young to be able to maneuver it. This scooter weights just 3.3 lbs, allowing for both children and parents to be able to pick it up for transport. Another pro is that this scooter can be ridden inside without leaving black marks on flooring, due to its unique PU wheels.
The Mini Kick Scooter features a modular construction. This means that all parts on this scooter are replaceable. Pass it on down the line as your children grow; this scooter can last practically forever.
Some users have complained that the deck is too flimsy, bowing when in use, even when the rider is well under the weight limit. Likewise, the deck has been considered slender and short. Some users have reported that their children cannot fit both feet on the deck side by side or even one behind the other.
While the Kickboard USA Mini Kick Scooter features a standard brake for scooters of its size and type, some users complain that it should have more “grip”. The brake is made of plastic, and uses friction to halt the wheel. The rider must lean back to activate the brake, which may be tricky for some beginning scooter riders.
Unlike a Razor scooter, the handlebars of the Kickboard USA Mini Kick Scooters are situated directly over the front wheels. The center of gravity may be better suited a pinch further back.
